In September 2012, former Bauhaus frontman Peter Murphy played a one-off concert at Los Angeles’ Club Nokia — an event dubbed “Stan Lee’s In Parties” — to help kick off the comic book legend’s weekend-long Comikaze fest. It was a fairly standard set from Murphy… except for the opening number, which found him dueting with Lee on the standard “That Old Black Magic.”
As you can see from the clip posted below, Murphy notes that “Stan informed a lot of my childhood. Thor. Odin,” before diving into the old-fashioned crooner thing. Lee, on the other hand, fairly well hams it up from the start, at one point motioning to Murphy and quipping, “I wish he was a girl!”
