New Wave rockers The Fixx return today with their first new album in a decade, the 11-track Beautiful Friction, and they’re promoting the effort with a new music video for first single “Anyone Else.” As you can see above, the arty clip, directed by Jon Collins, references various forms of conflict, from political debates to the Westboro Baptist Church’s anti-gay picketing, the Occupy movement and armed protest — all with a group of flag-bearing kids charging their way through. Beautiful Friction is out today on Kirtland Records.
