Mick Jones to Play Clash Songs on UK Charity Tour Having revisited Big Audio Dynamite over the past year, Mick Jones will now dust off The Clash’s catalog, playing songs by his old on tour for the first time in nearly 30 years when he joins the Justice Tonight charity tour in the U.K. this December. Off to Never Land: The Sisters Of Mercy Interviewed Head Sister Andrew Eldritch is interviewed via e-mail by the U.K. web mag in a weird sort of third-person, and talks about the goth-rock legends’ ongoing touring and hints that the band could someday follow up 1990’s Vision Thing with a new album… “even though nobody in this tech climate can make their money back. Brown Acid Black Leather: The Story of The Jesus and Mary Chain’s ‘Psychocandy’ Jim Reid and bassist Douglas Hart look back on the making of the Mary Chain’s noise-pop classic. Reid opines: “I think the attitude of Psychocandy was to do with not being satisfied with the status quo and trying to fuck things up a little bit. There’s always gonna be somebody who wants to do that and hopefully it’ll be different every time it happens.” [The Quietus]
