The first and second full-length albums from classic synthpop duo Erasure — 1986’s Wonderland and 1987’s The Circus — will be reissued this summer in deluxe 2CD/1DVD packages stuffed with bonus remixes, B-sides, live sessions, music videos, TV performances and vintage concert footage.
Due out July 4 in the U.K. via EMI Music, the expanded editions — which follow the similar reissue of 1988’s The Innocents in 2009 — each include a remastered edition of the original album on the first disc, plus a few bonus tracks apiece. The second disc on each reissues includes B-sides, 12-inch mixes and BBC live sessions — including six unreleased session cuts on the 25th anniversary Wonderland reissue.
As for the DVDs — all-region NTSC discs — the Wonderland reissue includes three promo videos and a 14-track, previously unreleased concert filmed Aug. 8, 1986, in Stockholm, Sweden. And the Circus reissue’s DVD includes four promo videos, four “Top of the Pops” appearances from 1986 and 1987, and the 13-track, previously VHS-only “Live at the Seaside” concert film, recorded April 17, 1987, in Brighton, England.

is there a US release for these?
5.1 would’ve been killer, but I get it – remixing in surround is a lot of work for a limited audience. Still, electronic stuff, especially Erasure’s, would be a perfect fit for the format.
don’t know why they didnt release these before they did the innocents album makes no sense to me
but they still have the 2 ring circus to do aswell
which i hope they do something special with
Have you seen the price of these on scAmazon UK? I can’t see the difference in Suede’s reissues at £10 and these at £23…I Think The Innocents was initially £25
