BACKSTORY: Calling it an album “sung in English for Norwegian ears,” Robyn Hitchcock has quietly released a new album on Norwegian label Hype City Recordings. The record, for sale on the singer’s site, features eight new songs, a re-recording of “Raining Twilight Coast” from 1990’s Eye and a new Norwegian-language version of “Goodnight Oslo.”

BACKSTORY: The newly reunited U.K. New Wave/postpunk outfit follows up last month’s reissue of The Small Price of a Bicycle in the U.K. this week with an expanded 3CD re-release of its third album, originally released in 1987. The second CD features B-sides, demos and singles, while the third disc is a full live concert from 1986.
