Playlist: Sirius XM’s ‘Dark Wave,’ 11/21/10

Sirius XM's 1st Wave

If it’s Sunday night again, that means one things: time to check in with the playlist from “Dark Wave,” the weekly “darker side of alternative” show on Sirius XM’s 1st Wave. This week’s episode features a pretty routine lineup, with notable appearances by a pair of lesser-played Depeche Mode tracks (“Monument,” off A Broken Frame, and Violator-era B-side “Sea of Sin”) — plus the return of the always-out-of-place Puscifer.

“Dark Wave” airs Sundays from 10 p.m. to 1 a.m. Eastern/7 p.m. to 10 p.m. Pacific.

  1. Don’t particularly see the Stranglers fit very well on Dark Wave. I love that they played a ’90s Moz song, though; they tend to not play much music that’s not from the 80’s unless it’s Nine Inch Nails or Puscifer.
