The second episode of satellite provider DirecTV’s new performance and Q&A show “Guitar Center Sessions” — capturing the short-lived Jane’s Addiction lineup with Duff McKagan — premieres next weekend, and the series has posted this video of the band doing an unplugged “Jane Says” as a preview.
The half-hour series, which premiered last month with an episode featuring Peter Gabriel, will debut its Jane’s Addiction episode at 9 p.m. ET/PT Sept. 25 on DirecTV’s in-house 101 Network (and the provider’s new 3D channel, n3D), and will repeat multiple times.

Awesome. I love it. This is different, more mellow, but the sound is totally relevant for today. Saw them at Lollapalooza in 1991 and have loved and will love them forever, together or apart.
I was a doorman/bouncer at the Music Machine in LA 1981 1982 when I first saw these guys, My first impression was “Oh my”, “Whose children are these” lol
When they got on stage, I smiled and said these guys are going somewhere.. Good to see Duff playing. Thanks for mentioning the Music Machine, It brought a smile to my face. I saw a lot.. A lot of talent there and have been forever grateful for it. I feel a close bond with these guys and all the others of that time. .
