With their first album in 14 years due out next month, Orchestral Manoeuvres in the Dark last week released a video for “If You Want It,” the first single off the disc. The artsy clip, shown above, features bandmates Andy McCluskey and Paul Humphreys sitting in a theater watching a troupe of dancers writhing about onstage in various states of undress and face paint.
The “If You “Want It” single is due out Sept. 6 in the U.K. as a limited-edition yellow-vinyl 7-inch (backed by non-album track “Idea 1”), and the album itself, History of Modern, arrives Sept. 20 in the U.K. and Sept. 28 in the U.S. (see the full tracklist here).
