  1. Hard to call it tonight. Any hour that starts with Heal It Up is a good one. Especially when it has that Gang of Four song in it. But the other two were no slouches. Gotta call it a three way tie tonight.

Would like to ask for Red Lorry Yellow Lorry “Chance” on an upcoming episode.

Thanks for the great show. Have a good week.

  2. Hi Matt, great show! Can you please play The Stone Roses – Something’s Burning (extended mix)
    Thank you, Goodnight!

  3. Love closing the show with The Chauffeur. All time classic. Keep up the great work Matt.

  4. Great calls with King Volcano and The Chauffeur!

  5. Play Echo and The Bunnymen live for an entire show, you’d get zero complaint from me.
    Got any D.A.F laying around?

  6. The Danse Society – Midnight Land

  7. Constantine

Simple Stuff by the Bunnymen please

  8. I can’t thank you enough for playing The Chauffeur!

  9. Scorching first hour!

    Here are some requests –

Sad Lovers & Giants – Colourless Dream
    Morrissey – Alsatian Cousin

    Thanks!

  10. Hour one gets the gold medal! Also loved JAMC, Echo, Depeche, and Duran Duran…

A request for an upcoming episode:
    TSOL “Wash Away”

    As always, thank you!

  11. Not to sound like a broken record, but that was one of the most finely balanced shows ever. Tough to pick a winner but I may just give the slightest edge to hour 2 with JAMC followed by their old drummer’s band doing a killer JAMC cover and then Essence and 14 Iced Bears, damn. Great Chameleons deep cut and an all timer from Skinny Puppy to close the hour, so good.

How about some ACR in a few weeks, “Do the Du (Casse)”.

Have a great week Matt, cheers!

  12. Holy cow awesome show and ending with that classic DD song….hot damn!! I am so looking forward to seeing Jane’s and L&R in Toronto in a few weeks. Some possible suggestions for next time:

    Jane’s Addiction – Classic Girl
    Love & Rockets – Lazy
    Sugar – A Good Idea

    Thanks again as always!!!! 。◕‿◕。

  13. Missed L&R / Jane’s tix oh well!
    Great show!
My wife the Duranie loved the closer, as did I!
    thanks Matt!

  14. For the next one:

    Lowlife – Swing

  15. Seefeel – Moodswing (1993)
Genesis P. Orridge & Dave Ball – Sex & The Married Frog (1985)

  16. Jonathan Leon

    Cool show.
Can you please play Anne Clark – Our Darkness?

  17. Relatively new devotee of the show, going on about a year now. This is a really last minute request but would regret not pointing out that the next show begins on a September 1st, perfect time to play “I’ll Meet You In Poland off ‘Hole’ by Scraping Foetus Off The Wheel… I think there is an official or semi official live version too? Anyway thanks for the recent Jim Thirwell plays and will be back with some more timely requests soon.

  19. Loved hearing “Swallow It” — ending to that song is so cool. Also listened to last week’s show again and that first hour was awesome. I think I may be warming up to Foetus!
