  1. Man it’s good to listen live. Hour one was amazing. Especially that version of Do You Want to Party. The Light Pours out of me is never unwelcome. Tonight was a reminder of why Sunday nights are something to look forward to. Could we hear:

My Life With the Thrill Kill Kult – These Remains

Last two weeks’ shows were a treat as well. But that Night Fever? Chef’s kiss! It’s that kinda attitude that keeps me coming back. Thank you for doing the Lord’s work.

  2. Thanks for the Overlords. That’s become one of my favorite covers. Hour 2 hands down. The Gary Numan, Weirdos, Andi Sex Gang, DM, and Danse Society tracks all put it over the top for me.

Thanks for a great show. Have a good week.

    • Great playlist this week! I especially loved hearing the Chills and Reverberation by JAMC. Can you please do me a solid and play Wolf Hour by Hunting Lodge? It’s time to get weird!

  3. “Then” by the Charlatans UK for (the next after next) Sunday’s show

  4. Pink Turns Blue – Identity House

  5. Great to hear a cut from Living Ornaments ’79 Bombers was a great choice to play. A great setlist lots of great cuts I haven’t heard in a while. A great Way to close out the weekend.

  6. Thanks for playing “Pink Frost.” I’m crushed over Martin Phillipps’ death, but I appreciate that he already wrote songs to help his fans deal with this.

  7. Whoever said “Don’t meet your idols” was wrong. Met Franke Nardiello at the John Waters exhibit at Academy of Motion Pictures museum, what a kind and funny guy! I just happened to be wearing the latest TKK shirt from their new store and Franke graciously snapped pics with me!
In honor, how about a Dealer’s Choice deep cut from My Life with the Thrill Kill Kult please and thanks Matt!
    Franke Nardiello ✅️
    Siouxsie & Budgie ✅️
    Matt Sebastian
    Jon Klein

  8. The Chills song was great, I think it fit in perfectly.

  9. How about the the infected or lush leaves me cold?

  10. Maybe Marble by House of Love

  11. Lovely tribute to Marin Phillipps, thanks for that. Gone WAY too soon. Thanks for playing my House of Love request, I think it fit perfectly right after The Chills cut. And I have to say you had me laughing out loud with that programming plug for the Yacht Rock station. As an English teacher I appreciated the fitting irony of following up that plug with some Fad Gadget, priceless.

School starts tomorrow, drat! How about “The Headmaster Ritual” by The Smiths for a future episode.

Have a great week Matt, cheers!

    • I’ll second the Smiths request!

Nathan, I head back to school next week. Yikes, such a bummer when summer ends! I hope your first day went smoothly. And best wishes for a great school year.

  12. Hey Matt I’ve been dying to hear

    Velvet Underground- Venus In Furs
    Galaxy 500 – Ceremony
    Depeche Mode – Halo
Joy Division – Twenty Four Hours
New Order – Everything’s Gone Green

  13. Great hearing “Back to Nature” last night driving back from Disneyland. Definitely turned it up.

  14. Nick Cave – Henry Lee

  15. I loved last night’s show. Lead into gold was great!

  16. Pigbros – Face Of Baby (1988)
Unsane – Get Off My Back (1995)

  17. Thank you for playing my Weirdos request – just love that blast of old LA punk. I really loved the flow of this show – The Normal, The Chills, Stone Roses, TSOL, 45 Grave, all the cover songs…
A request for an upcoming show:
    David Bowie “slow burn”
    Thank you!

  18. Enjoyed the punk choices!

  19. As always, a great set. Can consideration be given to
    – Passion Puppets “Like Dust”
    – Bauhaus “In the Night”

    Thank you!

  20. Thanks for playing Stoned To Death! That song rules!
Can you play Butterfly Potion by Foetus, Inc?

  21. SKINNY PUPPY – “Tear or Beat”

  22. Loved the KMFDM/FLA combo to open the set list.

Really enjoy hearing the deeper Front 242 cuts too but I feel like the Tyranny For You album is under-represented. Gripped By Fear and The Untold seem to fit the dark wave mold.

Keep doing what you’re doing, Matt. It’s the best 3 hours of the week.

  23. Please play trio of Ministry for me from Alains multiple styles thru the years

Cold Life, Work For Love, Golden Dawn

Great Ministry songs. So whacked out he was and still is. WAX RAZ

  24. Matt lemme get an “Unhappy Birthday” by the Mozzer, love the show sir!

  25. Thanks for playing my request for The Sound. Fantastic show.

  26. Hi Mr. Sebastian! I am a frequent listener of you r great show. I would like to suggest a few songs for the next show: Texas and Paraguay by Pankow, Le Suicide du Beau Serge by The Neon Judgement and Shutdown by Front Line Assembly. Thank you!
