  1. There is no mistaking Paul Barker’s bass lines, awesome request. And speaking of Barker, Twitch is such a fantastic album with All Day Remix being one of the best tracks (of all Ministry). Thank you for the Love and Rockets, but thank you even more for the Shadowplay. I loved the return of the killer Shoegaze set tonight. SImple one tonight:

    Front 242- Welcome to Paradise

Dealer’s choice as to any particular flavor remix and or version please. Do Ya Think I’m Sexy will always have a special place in my heart and Quite Unusual is so good. Thank you for doing the Lord’s work.

Tonight was quite a fun ride. Little Wing was a perfect ending. And to whoever is in charge of the songs after your show, Bowie is definitely the correct following option.

  2. Thank you so very much for playing Spacemen 3 this was a awesome set of music I loved hour Two so very much. Could you please play
A portrait destroyed by fire by Guided By Voices
    Thanks.

  3. Thanks for the Japan. Hour 1 was too strong not to call it tonight. But the last four cuts you ended the show on were great calls too.

Thanks for the great music. Have a good week.

  4. Shadowplay sounds like it came from another universe. There’s a YT tutorial for the guitar part that puts the post in punk – the Anyone Can Play Guitar guy.
The Church were here in Toronto this week and on to Denver July 2nd . The next night at a venue that looks like a Patrick Swayze style roadhouse in some mountain hideout called Bellvue before the PNW and California. There are three guitarists in this touring version and 12 string guitars in someone’s hands every song. The set is a hybrid of 80s and the the two new albums.

  5. Siouxsie + the Banshees’ take on Kraftwerk’s “Hall of Mirrors” for (the next after next) Sunday’s show

  6. Thanks for another top notch set list! Hard to pinpoint highlights…all of hour two, JAMC, Peter Murphy…Wow, this show will be on repeat…

A request for an upcoming show:
David Bowie “The secret life of Arabia”

  7. WoW thank you for Ladybird, such a cool song! And your choice of songs from The Bunnymen and Fad Gadget!
    Frankly all of them

  8. How about more Shoegaze and LESS COVERS of other artists.

  9. Lucan you dig out

Modern English – Carry Me Down
    Depeche Mode – Halo
XTC – Making Plans For Nigel
New Order – Everything’s Gone Green

    • This spellcheck haha i was going to say can you dig out

    • Requesting:

      Twist by Tones in Tail

For my daughter Mackenzie who turns 4 on 7/11 and been dancing to it since she was born. Also happens to be Peter Murphy’s birthday.

  10. Brilliant set from start to finish. Thanks for playing my ACR request and the 12” version, yes! Bauhaus too, I wish they’d played that one in the live shows a few years back. Really dig that new March Violets track. And as Evan would say, we can never have too much Big Black.

You played many requests last night, thanks yet again for the best show on Sirius.

Request for a future show: “He’s Send In The Army” by Gang of Four.

Have a great week Matt, cheers!

  11. Classic DW episode! Good mix of deep cuts and strong tunes.

    Here are some requests –

    The Bags – Survive

And anything you feel is good from The Gun Club, in honor of Mr. Jeffrey Lee Pierce, who would have celebrated a birthday last week.

    Thanks!

  12. Hello Matt and happy Monday to you! Thank you for Plainsong…I mean…just a masterpiece as far as I am concerned!! Some possible suggestions for next time:

    Butthole Surfers – Dust Devil
Faith No More – Digging The Grave
    Lo Fidelity Allstars – Battleflag

Thank you for your top notch work each week….we’re not worthy! 。◕‿◕。

  13. Psi Com – City Of 9 Gates (1985)
Neon – My Blues Is You (1983)

  14. Thanks for playing Liquid Liquid, made my year.
