  1. Control I’m Here! An absolutely amazing opener.Tones on Tail?! It’s been years since I’ve heard Vitamin C. The first hour was one of your finest. Way too many songs to comment on but damnit if that TKK wasn’t properly nasty. I was pleasantly surprised to hear Lords of Acid, thank you. Sometimes you just gotta sling sketti songs at the wall and see what sticks. Could we hear:

The Ghastly Ones – Surfin Spooks

Who wouldn’t want to hang out with Wu-Tang in Vegas?

Outstanding show tonight and thank you for doing the Lord’s work. One of your best shows again.

  2. “Five Ten Fiftyfold” by Cocteau Twins for (the next after next) Sunday’s show

  3. Thanks for the Depeche Mode. One of my favorite songs. Hour 1. Great calls with Red Lorry, David Bowie, and that great tribute to Mr. Suzuki.

Thanks for the great show. Have a good week.

  4. addictedtonoise

“Bleed Clean” by Disco Inferno if you please

  5. Sean Whitaker

Always a pleasure listening. Would you be interested in attending one of cEvin Key’s Sunday Chats thru his Patreon site? It would be interesting to hear your background and especially more of your knowledge in musical history. I am not a promoter, just a fan and Patreon member for the site. No responce needed.

…and Thank You for paying Parade In Paris a few weeks back…

  6. Wow, what an awesome show! Seriously, so much good stuff. The tribute to Mr. Suzuki was wonderful. Thank you for including my Bowie request. This show will be on repeat all week.

A request for an upcoming show:
The Smiths “Death of a Disco Dancer”

    Thank you!

  7. So many good pairings on this DW, each song flowed into one another greatly. Enjoyed the death rock/punk block and the live tracks!

    Here are some requests –

    The Human League – Seconds
    The Cult – Hollow Man

    Thanks!

  8. I remember that MLWTTKK track from the Wax Trax Black Box set that introduced me to so many good industrial bands and that song is just 12 minutes of awesome!
They had in their tour setlist last year and it’s even better hearing it live!

Maybe “Sensoria” by Cabaret Voltaire for a future show?

  9. Really super awesome show this week Matt (as per usual!!). Thank you for playing Catchfire – seriously I don’t think there is a sub-par J&MC song!! Some possible suggestions for next time:

    Concrete Blonde – Everybody Knows
    The Cranes – Adoration
    Pixies – Wave of Mutilation

    Thanks again as always! 。◕‿◕。

  10. All About Eve – Flowers In Our Hair

  11. Great show last night, Matt! I wish it was longer than three hours.

  12. Gene Loves Jezebel – Kiss Of Life (1990)
Root Boy Slim – It’s Only Murder (1986)

  13. Superb set from start to finish but I think I have to give the slight edge to hour 1. Really loved hearing the tribute to Damo, that was special, he was special. And Jaki Leibezeit has to be one of the greatest drummers of all time. Thanks again for playing so many of our requests. There were a ton of exceptional ones last night, as per usual.

May I request “Life’s Two Faces” by Stockholm Monsters for a future show? Peter Hook fans should enjoy that one as he produced their one and only album.

Have a great week Matt, cheers!

  14. Hey Matt!

Wow!! @_@ – The Kiss, Christian Says, The Judgement is the Mirror, Rush… and… Obsession. All in the first hour… Amazing set!

Hours 2 and 3 were off the hook as well!! Loved every minute… :-)

    Duomo Arigato (RIP Damo)

  15. Great stuff once again! Enjoyed it from front to back. I confidently claimed the NIN was Pigface when it played. Oops.

I can’t justify going to the No Values fest in June just because Jesus Lizard is playing, right? Right ???! As a consolation I’d like to request Seasick.

Thanks as always for this show – we look forward to it and it never disappoints!

  16. I agree with the requests above Matt. Pulled a cassette mixed tape out that had Payolas Dirty Water. That would be a good one for a future show. hour 2 knocked it out of the park.

  17. Would the contents of Manic Street Preachers’ “The Holy Bible” be considered darkwave? If so, I’d like to request a song from the album – dealer’s choice.

  18. Thank you for The Wedding Present and so much more.
That DCD lp is an absolute time machine, never gets old

  19. Matt, I’m really enjoying these shows. They keep getting better and better. I’d love to hear Complicated Game by XTC sometime. Thanks!

  20. Good Show Matt some of my favs from the night were Nitzer Ebb, David Bowie, Ministry .

I would like to request for next week.
Wire Train – Chamber of Hellos

  21. Can you please play Under Glass by Legendary Pink Dots?

  22. Hey Matt, loved the Whigs shout out on the other week’s episode! How about something from one of their earlier albums.

  23. Thanks a lot for getting to Momus this week, it was great actually hearing that song on the radio!
