The Cure announces “one last extra show” for “Shows of a Lost World” North American tour

The Cure today once again expanded its Shows of a Lost World 2023 tour in North America, adding what Robert Smith called “one last extra show” to the trek that now spans 35 dates: a second show at the Shoreline Amphitheatre in the San Francisco Bay Area.

Tickets for the new May 29 show at Shoreline go on sale — apparently without any pre-sales — at 10 a.m. Pacific on Friday, April 28, via Live Nation.

The Shows of a Lost World tour will find Smith joined by his longest-serving bandmate, bassist Simon Gallup, as well as drummer Jason Cooper, keyboardist Roger O’Donnell and guitarist Reeves Gabrels. Smith surprised fans last fall by bringing back guitarist/keyboardist Perry Bamonte, who played in the band from 1990 to 2005.
