  1. Kate Bush’s take on a traditional Irish folk song “My Lagan Love” for next Sunday’s show in honor of St. Paddy’s week

  2. It’s a tough call between Hour 1 and 2 tonight. Will have to go with Hour 1 by a hair. Great show.

Something from Red Lorry Yellow Lorry’s Blow please. “Heaven” or “Happy to See Me” would be great.

Thanks and have a good week.

    • Hi Matt, I’ve enjoyed your show for many years. Amazing set lists week after week. I would love to hear “I

  16. Fantastic edition of Darkwave. Thanks for playing the Alice Donut track! The Bigod 20 track left me wanting more…. Ciccione Youth :)

  17. Great episode.

    This week’s Darkness Award:
    Spiritualized, “Cop Shoot Cop”

Death in June: the Calling mk2
    The Legendary Pink Dots: Blacklist
The Mission: Stars Don’t Shine Withought You
Pink Turns Blue: Your Master is Calling
    Thank you so much!!!

  19. Loved hearing “Walk This Way” from Daniel Ash on the show! How about giving some love to Tones on Tail next weekend? Perhaps “War” or “Christian Says”? Thanks a lot! Love this show so much!

  20. Chris Davis

Just wanted to say thanks from a few weeks ago for letting me know about the Ministry tour coming up with Front Line Assembly and Gary Numan. I checked after and sure enough one of the few dates in the US is here in Austin so I snagged the tickets immediately and now three bands I never saw back in the day will be checked off my bucket list in one fell swoop!

I am requesting a song I haven’t heard on Dark Wave before but I think it would fit well in the industrial mix section.
Lords Of Acid: I Sit on Acid (Remix) from the Lust album.
The remix is preferred as it has some very nice Front 242 references in it.

In any case thanks again for the concert info – keep it up!

  21. Freddie Bingham

Jolene by the Sisters of Mercy

  22. I agree with everyone above…Hour 2 shreds this week Matt. Best way to start it with Lagartija Nick. How about Kitchens of Distinction- Angela’s Injection.

  23. Psychic TV: Godstar
Sisters of Mercy: Lucretia my Reflection
    Tones on Tails: Go
    Cabaret Voltaire: Don’t Argue

  24. Long live Dead Can Dance.

Consider Told You So by DM. Wish they might of considered Alan Wilder back, maybe next one

  25. Ministry. NIN. Revco. Skatenigs. Die Warzau.
All these bands are represented in an album that doesn’t get quite enough credit- Burning In Water, Drowning in Flame.
Made at Chicago Trax in 1991 by Texas based metal band Skrew, this is a collection of industrial giants that rivals that of any Pigface record.
Go look at the production lineup!
“Charlemagne” – could easily disguise as a Ministry b-side.
“Prey Flesh” – vintage Die Warzau.
“Sympathy For The Devil” – most effed up cover of this classic tune.
    “Poisonous” early metal rap.
But this is definitely Skrew! Too harsh for industrial fans, too industrial for metal purists.
Anything off this record would be cool!

Would also thumbs up Lords of Acid!! (I’ll save my gushes for another day)

  26. The Cure- Charlotte Sometimes
    Pretty please!
    Great show this week!

  27. Real Life- If I Were God Tonight
    Great show Matt

  28. Pacific – “Jetstream” (Album: “Inference”; Creation Records – impossible to find)

  29. Oh Wow I can’t believe it I can’t believe you played that ……. “Cop Shoot Cop” my absolute favorite Spiritualized song it’s in my top 20 favorite songs of all time. Wow. Anyways I would like to suggest “Normandy(On A Beach)”-The Waterfront (The Stone Roses) or “Rocket Ship”(Daniel Johnston Cover)- The Dead Milkmen
    Thanks

  30. “Wednesday Addams Boyfriend” By Tall Boys

Best Show On Sirius XM awesome line up
Requesting some Psychobilly along the lines of The Cramps

  31. Curve – Coast Is Clear
    JAMC – Everything’s Alright When You’re Down
GLJ – Rivers Edge or Upstairs

  32. Have not heard Siouxsie and the Banshees – Helter Skelter in a long time.
