Long-running Australian act The Church today debuted the third single — the love song “No Other You” — off of its forthcoming 26th studio album The Hypnogogue and an accompanying tour of the U.S. that will start in about a month.
The new single follows the release of the album’s title track and the follow-up “C’est La Vie,” featuring characters who appear throughout the songs of The Hypnogogue, which will be released Feb. 24.
The forthcoming album is The Church’s first since the 2020 departure of founding guitarist Peter Koppes, leaving singer-bassist Steve Kilbey as the only original member of the band. He’s joined by longtime Church drummer Tim Powles, guitarists Ian Haug and Ashley Naylor, and multi-instrumentalist Jeffrey Cain.
The Church will embark on a 20-date U.S. tour that begins March 11 in Los Angeles and wraps up April 8 in Pelham, Tennessee, with dates in between in Tacoma, Washington, St. Louis, Missouri, and Hartford, Connecticut, among other locales.
