The Sisters of Mercy will indeed play more than just a festival slot and a few rare headlining dates when the band returns to the U.S. this spring: Andrew Eldritch and Co. this morning announced a full 19-date American tour, the band’s first here in nearly 15 years.
The Sisters will augment previously announced appearances in Las Vegas and Hollywood with a full coast-to-coast tour, beginning May 10 in Silver Spring, Maryland, and wrapping up June 9 in Denver, with shows in between in California, Oregon, Arizona, Texas, Missouri, Pennsylvania, Michigan and more.
See full dates below.
Tickets for the band’s U.S. shows go on sale at 10 a.m. local time Friday, Feb. 10.
The Sisters’ current lineup finds Eldritch backed by Ben Christo, Dylan Smith, “Ravey” Dave Creffield and, as always, drum machine Doktor Avalanche. Though the band tours regularly — playing new songs, despite not having released an album since 1990’s Vision Thing — it hasn’t done so in the U.S. since a run of dates in 2008.
The group was announced last year as appearing at this May’s Sick New World Festival in Vegas, and two non-consecutive dates at the Hollywood Palladium and a headlining show in Las Vegas the day after the festival appearance were announced in recent weeks.
The band’s only other announced shows for 2023 include four concerts in Mexico and South America in June.
See all of those dates below.

If you can go to Las Vegas x2, Arizona, CA and Texas. Why the F can’t you stop in New Mexico???
Talk to your local venue. The bands put out an offer, it’s up to your local venue to accept or decline the tour package.
There is not enough dry ice fog in New Mexico…that’s Andrew’s natural habitat.
Anyone have presale passwords?
