The Psychedelic Furs’ plans to tour their first new studio album in nearly 30 years were foiled by the pandemic, but the band finally is planning to hit the road behind Made of Rain later this year with a 28-date U.S. tour that runs from September through November.
The Furs’ U.S. tour opens with four dates in mid-September before the band heads to England for seven shows there, including a concert at London’s Royal Albert Hall. Then it’s back to the U.S. for 24 more concerts, including dates at the Apollo Theater in New York City and Tipitina’s in New Orleans.
Royston Langston, lead singer of Spacehog, will open the shows between Oct. 16 and Nov. 20.
Tickets for all dates go on sale Friday, June 4; full ticket details at thepsychedelicfurs.com.
