They Might Be Giants have rescheduled their coronavirus-foiled Flood 30th anniversary tour, plotting a new 46-date trek through much of 2021 during which the two Johns will perform their beloved 1990 album in its entirety each night.
The new tour opens April 7 in New York and runs through Sept. 4 in North Adams, Mass., with some gaps in there, too. Many of the shows already were sold out. See full dates below.
They Might Be Giants say these are “an evening with” shows that will features two full sets. And how will Flood — featuring “Birdhouse in Your Soul,” “Istanbul (Not Constantinople)” and “Particle Man” — be performed? “In sequence, in reverse sequence, alphabetical, or mixed into additional repertoire? It could be different on any given night,” the band writes on its website. .

No Memphis? Nashville? ☹️ I really want to take my teenager! I am lucky and old enough to have seen them three times, and this is one of his (our) favorite albums. I was his age when I first heard that “brand new record in 1990.” They are incredible live, highly recommend.
