Morrissey will follow up his poorly selling U.K. dates and a headlining appearance at the Cruel World ’80s alternative extravaganza with a residency in Las Vegas, with five performances scheduled at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace in late June and early July.
Tickets for the Vegas shows, which begin June 26 and culminate on the Fourth of July, go on sale at 10 a.m. local time Friday, Feb. 28, via Ticketmaster, with a presale that begins at 10 a.m. Feb. 27.
The Vegas residency follows Morrissey’s seven-night run on Broadway last year.
The ex-Smiths singer, who has come under increasing fire from critics and former fans for racist and right-wing views, is due to release his 13th studio album, I Am Not a Dog on a Chain, on March 20.

In related news, Las Vegas bookmakers are offering odds on how many of the shows he’ll actually play.
The new single LOVE IS ON ITS WAY OUT is a return to genius so I’m super excited for the album and the nights I’ll be in Vegas
He will cancel all 5 shows in Vegas. Has he seen the buffet at Caesar’s lol
I’m considering Vegas but having been stung by other cancellations closer to home in the past I’m not sure I’ll risk it. His new tracks sound very promising which will upset all the woke media sheep who want it to be crap.
Anti-woke, your handle befits you.

This guys a (like Trump) … he is nothing without Johnny Marr n the band …
I’d rather pay big bucks to watch him EAT MEAT in Vegas
Johnny Marr WAS The Smiths. His work in the band saved many a song from Morrisey’s tuneless droning.
i’m going to all five gigs but cancelling at the last minute
My god, being a Morrissey fan is exhausting. I’m glad he stopped making good records a while back so I didn’t have to feel torn about liking him.
