Dream-pop favorites The Ocean Blue this week shared a gorgeous music video for the equally gorgeous song “Love Doesn’t Make It Easy On Us,” off their 2019 album Kings and Queens/Knaves and Thieves, as the band prepares to play a run of sporadic shows through May.
Released last summer, Kings and Queens/Knaves and Thieves was the band’s first new album in six years and seventh overall. The Ocean Blue continues to tour in support of the record, and has dates in the coming months in New York, Arizona, Georgia, Florida and Tennessee.
The Ocean Blue released four major-label records between 1989 and 1996, with the band’s self-titled debut spawning the modern-rock radio hit “Between Something and Nothing.” The group released Davy Jones’ Locker on an independent label in 1999, and followed that in 2004 with the Waterworks EP — later expanded into a full album — and the comeback Ultramarine in 2013.
Below, check out the new Typsy Panthre-directed music video and see the band’s tour dates.

I Love The Ocean Blue. Saw them in November in Los Angeles and they were solid as usual. They don’t release bad material. This latest album is exceptional.
This is really great.
Never a Colorado date.
