Just days after announcing the ninth incarnation of its Chicago industrial-music festival, Cold Waves today revealed that it will bring a bit of the Windy City to Los Angeles in late September with a Wax Trax! Records showcase featuring performances by Front 242, The Young Gods, My Life With the Thrill Kill Kult, Paul Barker and Chris Connelly.
The Sept. 24 event at The Mayan Theater also will feature special guests DJ Danny Lethal and Delilah Domino as Divine, as well as an official Wax Trax! pop-up store with collectibles and merchandise including original vinyl, test pressings, vintage posters, CDs, T-shirts and more.
Tickets go on sale at 10 a.m. Monday, Feb. 10, via EventBrite. VIP tickets will include early entry for a private meet-and-greet with all of the performers; a Cold Waves 2020 compilation CD, poster and laminate; balcony access with VIP seating; and early access to Wax Trax! pop-up store exclusvies.
