John Lydon will bring Public Image Ltd. back to North America this fall for an 18-date run as he commemorates his post-punk group’s 40th anniversary with a new documentary, giant box set and a world tour all bearing the name “The Public Image is Rotten.”
The North American tour, which follows treks in the U.K. and Europe this summer, opens Oct. 9 in New Orelans, includes two dates in Canada and wraps up Nov. 6 in Mexico City. In between, PiL will hit Atlanta, New York City, Chicago, Dallas, Seattle and more — and will play two dates in San Francisco.
