The Jesus and Mary Chain, who mounted a 9-date North American tour back in May, this week announced plans to return to the U.S. for 12 more concerts this October and November in support of the band’s first new album in 18 years, Damage and Joy.
The new round of dates opens Oct. 19 in San Francisco and runs through Nov. 8 in Houston, with three stops in California — including a headlining slot at the previously announced Cloak & Dagger Festival — plus two shows in Oregon, three in Texas and one apiece in Colorado, Washington, Montana and Utah.
