That Alex Chilton album is very cool — the recording at Ardent Studios is really professional and “big budget” sounding like he took the sessions seriously, which obviously wasn’t always true with him. Great performances and sounds, and the mix of originals and covers is fun.
I love the Fall, but ENOUGH WITH THE COLLECTION RELEASES!!!
MES needs a few bob for smokes and a pint.
There is a second Nick Lowe album also reissued this week – “The Rose of England”.
