The Sex Pistols’ 1979 interview compilation Some Product will be reissued in an expanded 3CD set — and rechristened More Product — later this month, with the original, out-of-print disc supplemented with two bonus discs featuring rare and unreleased interviews.
The original Some Product album featured interviews with the Pistols recorded between 1976 and 1978, and actually reached No. 6 on the U.K. album charts — despite being a spoken-word collection. It was later released on CD for a a time, but went out of print in the mid-’90s.
The expanded edition features the original release, along with what’s billed as a rare interview from BBC Radio 1’s “Rock On” show in 1977 on the second disc, and previously unreleased interviews that same year with Radio Forth in Edinburgh and Radio Metro in Newcastle on the third disc.
More Product, due out Aug. 25 via Universal Music. See the full tracklist below.

First a repackaging of a bunch of Jam stuff most fans have. Now a comp of interviews of the Pistols? No future indeed! Cue the next round of Costello reissues!
We, well, at least I soaked in everything Sex Pistols like a bone-dry sponge. Besides the laughs “Some Product” brought to my life I learned crucial English terms like “hairy jack and danny.” LMFAO! Many memorable scenes to be quoted here. Finally, to tie this up to Slicing Up Eyeballs….yes, I played this record on WIXQ 91.7 college radio.
