Miracle Legion frontman Mark Mulcahy will release his first new album in four years next month in the form of the 11-track The Possum in the Driveway, which comes as he’s wrapping up his current reunion tour with the ’80s college-rock cult favorites.
The new album is due out on limited-edition gold vinyl on Record Store Day, which falls on April 22, and will then be given a full, general release on April 28. In a news release announcing the new album, Mulcahy says: “This record took years off my life to make The war is over. I won.”
Mulcahy is expected to do limited touring in support of the album, but first he’ll cap off the Miracle Legion reunion with seven dates on the East and West Coasts in April.
