Post-punk legends act Wire have served up the second taste of their upcoming 15th studio album, Silver/Lead, in the form of mid-tempo rocker “Diamonds and Cups” — which premiered last week at Stereogum, and can be heard below.
The track follows lead single “Short Elevated Period” off the new record, which is due out on March 31, which the group says is the 40th anniversary of Wire’s debut live performance.
