Just a couple months after the unreleased “Same Old Madness” was included on the reissue of Ministry’s classic Twelve Inch Singles 1981-1984, another early With Sympathy-era track is seeing the light of day — this time, somewhat surprisingly, courtesy of bandleader Al Jourgensen, who has famously distanced himself from his band’s early synthpop days.
But late Sunday, Jourgensen posted the 1983 song “Anything For You” — known to fans as “I Will Do Anything For You” after it was played on tour in ’84 — as part of his ongoing “Ministry Mondays” series in which he gives away remixes of tracks largely off of the recent Relapse and From Beer to Eternity albums.
Jourgensen referred to the track as a “rare, never-before-released song from With Sympathy.”
Below, you can stream the song — or download a free MP3 courtesy of Uncle Al.

It’s more “Twitch” than “With Sympathy” ear Ministry.
Al states its from With Sympathy but it’s edgier that anything that made onto that record. Still Synth-pop not so much EBM.
Curiously the vocals sound like Al now. Throatier and no British accent. My money is on him having re-recording them.
I’d be shocked if Al was still able to sing like this. It sounds like an early vocal to me.
Not rerecorded. You can hear tape his when the song starts. Now pay up. :-)
LoL, didn’t notice any tape hiss. Shouldn’t be any since it was probably cleaned up in ProTools (check metadata).
I was speculating on the vocal track :p
I like the track but it would be better with a British accent ;)
I guess I can still listen to the “British” version in this video

There’s no shame in the synth-pop era.Just shows their diversity back then.Good track. Thanks Uncle Al. …Now if I could just get a hold of the stereo re-press of side-trax :P
Al disavows the “With Sympathy” album. Everything else he lets stand on it’s own.
Yeah, but Al rarely, if ever, plays anything from ‘Twitch’ or ‘Land of Rape and Honey’. I saw them play “We Believe” back in 2003, but since then Al only plays a few songs from Mind & Psalm 69…
You know, it would be cool if Uncle Al did a synth tour only playing stuff from 1981 – 1988 or so… The last few tours just focus on the more recent albums with the big songs from 1990+ thrown in. Getting very old.
Ministry is coming to my town in May, honestly if the setlist doesn’t include some songs of Land of Rape & Honey, Mind, and Psalm 69 I’m not going.
Yeah I think everyone is over his anti-Bush albums. Which seems so irrelevant now. Interesting track, but does not feel like W/Sympathy era.
All I know is that what this world needs is a LARD world tour….as well as a stop over on Planet Perth.
Sounds kinda like what you’d get if Al met Prince in a Minneapolis dance club in 1984 and they got all goofy whilst smoking hash.
