Echo & The Bunnymen this week wrapped up their U.S. tour in support of brand-new album Meteorites, and capped the trek with a return appearance on “Late Night with David Letterman” last night that saw the band performing that album’s “Holy Moses” for a national TV audience. I wonder how Ian felt about Letterman referring to them as a “band from the 80s” in the intro, lol
Weak track. I thought so when I first heard it and when I heard it live a few weeks ago and it hasn’t grown on me. They should have kept “lovers on the run” which from what I can tell the strongest track off the new record. Still, awesome to see them on Letterman.
Nice new song. Shame about the sound.
