With the release of his 10th solo album Lion now just three weeks away, Peter Murphy is offering up a second track from the forthcoming record: “I Am My Own Name,” an ominous slow-builder that pays off in a big way. You can stream the full track via the music video posted below (via Consequence of Sound).
Lion is due out June 3 and also is being preceded by first single “Hang Up.” Murphy also is embarking on a 33-date North American tour begging late next week

Me like it!
WOW!!
I like it too
Brilliant! Unbridled vocal, nice one Peter.
Very good! It is plain to see what a good producer will do for an otherwise washed-up musician.
Or, maybe it’s just the meth…
