The Pet Shop Boys brought their current Electric production to Coachella this past weekend for the first of two appearances at the California festival, delivering a 19-song set over the course of 80 minutes that was heavy on visuals, as is to be expected from the duo. Great songwriters, but as a live act I’ve always found the PSBs a bit farcical.
NICE!!! Thank you, Matt! Warpaint, Pixies, Little Dragon, Beck, and Disclosure were other personal highlights. Hopefully some ‘Mats footage this coming weekend!
Absolute legends. But really surprised not to see more from Electric as there are so many good, modern sounding tracks on there. Vocal is such a great encore number!
