Hi. I am not a hater, and I always check out your set list every week, but I feel I have to speak up. Your taste isn’t in question–it is excellent. The set lists are good, but you play the same 20 bands over and over and over. A “new show” consists of different songs by the same 20 bands. I’m tired of the same bands! And I’m also seeing song repeats. Part of a DJ’s job, in my opinion, is turning people on to bands and songs they may not have heard before. There is no chance of that happening on your show. In my opinion, you should play the big names, but then drop in that New Zealand postpunk band that only 12 people on Earth have heard. My opinion is that AT LEAST 20% of your set list should be more obscure bands. If you upped it to 80%, you would have the world’s best dark 80s show! If you want some ideas, check out my own dark 80s broadcast: http://grooveshark.com/#!/zoonami/broadcast/.
