The Pixies’ current U.S. tour took the band through Washington, D.C., recently, which afforded the group a chance to stop by NPR’s offices to perform a stripped-down “Tiny Desk Concert” — footage of which has just been posted by the public-radio giant. The band — featuring new bassist/violinist Paz Lenchantin — performs “Greens and Blues” off just-released EP-2, a still-unreleased song called “Silver Snail” and the Doolittle classic “Monkey Gone to Heaven.”
Watch below — and check out the band’s full tour dates.

I understand what you’re doing for with that headline but it’s still pretty confusing. Makes it sound like Monkey is an unreleased song.
Agree with the above comment. And bless her heart, Paz is definitely no Kim Deal.
I agree with the OP, the headline was misleading. Don’t be like Fox News!
what kind of dummy would think that Monkey Gone to Heaven is unreleased.
Pixies!!!
The headline is not confusing. But then, I understand grammar.
And oh–sorry to actually write about the subject and not troll, but–love the whole thing. Especially the new song.
Chik is an idiot.
See what I did there? That’s how you insult someone…no snarky sarcastic whiny shit.
Yankee: asshole. Perfect! Chik was simply responding to the idiotic responses to the perfectly fine headline.
My first reaction to this was, “Great. They’ve turned themselves into Kansas.”
But whatever. “Greens and Blues” is a great song, and I’m glad they’re still doing their thing. Long may they play.
YES VIOLIN SOLO. Let’s see Kim Deal do that.
