The lineup for this summer’s Glastonbury festival was announced today, and it’s an utter monstrosity, with headliners The Rolling Stones, Arctic Monkeys and Mumford & Sons joined by a seemingly endless list of bands, including Primal Scream, Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds, Elvis Costello, Billy Bragg and more.

Three years ago, we reported on plans to release a fan-produced concert film documenting Nine Inch Nails’ purportedly final concert: a monster 3.5-hour, 37-song set performed Sept. 10, 2009, at Los Angeles’ Wiltern Theatre. Now, with Trent Reznor having just announced plans to reunite NIN, the film is here.

Wire this week released their 13th studio album ‘Changes Becomes Us,’ and instead of offering the increasingly popular pre-release stream, the band is going for post-release: the full album, billed as an “exploration of unrecorded material originally written in 1979-80,” is now streaming over at Pitchfork.

Former Yazoo frontwoman Alison Moyet last month debuted the first material off her upcoming eight solo album the minutes, and now comes the official video for the first single, “When I Was Your Girl.” The U.S. version premiered today via USA Today (it’s been viewable in restricted form in other parts of the world since last week).

The reconfigured Big Country — with The Alarm’s Mike Peters filling in for the late frontman Stuart Adamson and the recent addition of original Simple Minds bassist Derek Forbes — is due to release The Journey, the band’s first new album in 14 years, next month, and is previewing the disc with first single “Hurt.”
