Elvis Costello and The Roots have been busy this week promoting their just-released new album Wise Up Ghost, performing in Brooklyn Monday night — where they covered The Specials’ classic “Ghost Town” — and appearing on “Late Night With Jimmy Fallon,” aka ?uestlove and Co.’s day job, on Monday night.

I’m sorry, but that Ghost Town cover is not so good…some songs should be left alone.
I respectfully disagree, An–this is a lovely, soulful version, with impeccable, inventive playing. It adds nice blue note/dorsey vibe to those diminished chords and it syncs well with the el-roots record and our diminished times. Plus, gosh, how can you not like La Marisoul?
BRILLIANT! Nice to see Declan Patrick alongside some fantastic musicians rescuing 2-Tone from those numpties in No Doubt. It’s not Terry and Neville by a longshot, but that’s not what they’re attempting.
