Sinead O’Connor will return to North America this fall for a 14-date tour in support of her 2012 album How About I Be Me (And You Be You)?, a trek she’s dubbing the “American Kindness” tour and one that will bring her to New York, California, Chicago and Ontario, Canada — with a pair of three-night stands in New York City and Chicago.
The tour opens Nov. 4 in Chicago, continues to New York for shows in NYC as well as Buffalo and Tarrytown, then heads to California for five dates across the state before wrapping up Dec. 2 in Ontario.
In a news release, O’Connor says of the tour:
“I’m beside myself with excitement about returning to the States as its always so much fun to tour there, and in my experience American people are extremely kind as a national trait and that’s why I’ve called the tour ‘American Kindness’. ..”
