The House of Love’s classic self-titled debut album on Creation Records — the second of three eponymous releases from the U.K. indie band — will be reissued this November in a limited-edition box set featuring 50 tracks spread over five LPs pressed on 180-gram audiophile vinyl, Optic Nerve Recordings announced this week.
The reissue is due out in November, and will include a 100-copy run on colored vinyl that the label says will be available for pre-order soon. No details have been revealed as to the tracklist, but, at 50 songs, it is presumably the same as the 3CD reissue that Cherry Red Records released last year.
The House of Love released a new studio album, She Paints Words In Red, earlier this year, and is planning a pair of London concerts this November to be recorded for a live CD/DVD set.
