For this week’s “120 Minutes” Rewind, we take a rare trip into the mid-’90s to present footage from the Sept. 4, 1994, episode, which was guest-hosted by Bob Mould the same week he released Sugar’s second and final album, File Under: Easy Listening. On this episode, Mould was joined by Sebadoh’s Lou Barlow for a chat, and the two then performed — together for the first time ever — the Bakesale track “Magnet’s Coil.”
The clip, via oppositecar, also includes an encore performance of Sugar’s “Believe What You Were Saying” that was shown on the Dec. 18, 1994, episode.
