“Blue and White!” Well, that’s what was cheered at UK Football and Basketball games throughout my adolescence and well past college. Seriously, before a big routine the University of Kentucky Cheerleaders used Corey’s voice track from Vivid. I discovered Living Colour via 120 Minutes or Headbangers Ball in my Mon’s basement at the time Vivid was released. I was absolutely blown away by Vernon, Will, and Corey. Living Colour to this day resides at the top of my personal pantheon of bands and Vivid is one of the most influential records in my life. I’m 40 and to this day I dream of playing riffs off Middle Man next to Vernon. If nothing else I’d like the band to know that four black rock musicians were idolized and revered by a teenager in rural Kentucky around the late 80’s to early 90’s. Hope I win the tickets because I’ll be in the front row singing every word at the top of my lungs.
I’m colorblind :(
Gray.
As White is the “presence of all color” and black is the “absence of all color” their combination is a contradiction that suits me perfectly.
well, my favourite colour is certainly not Doug Wimbish for sure
My favorite color has changed over the years and is now pansy – a deep violet – because of an amazing description in Patricia Cornwell’s book “Body of Evidence”.
“It is what you get when you blend the blue of depression with the red of rage.”
Sorry if everyone thinks that’s a downer.
LIVING COLOUR!
Magenta! :)
Def no Color Me Badd. Living Colour will destroy them @ Wrestlemania on Sunday.
