German industrial powerhouse KMFDM is currently in the midst of an 18-date tour of the United States in support of the band’s just-released 18th studio album Kunst — and we’ve got two pairs of tickets to see the band on March 21 at New York City’s Irving Plaza that we’re going to be giving away to two lucky Slicing Up Eyeballs readers.
TO ENTER: Simply drop a comment at the bottom of this post explaining how long you’ve been a KMFDM fan and why you’re dying to see them in New York next week.

i’ve been a fan of kmfdm since Naïve & would love to see them because i’ve never been able to before.
This would be awesome. I can’t make their Atlanta date and I’ve been a fan for ages (long ago in my College Radio days).
I go back quite a long time listening to the music of KMFDM because I love their melodic aggressiveness and intensity. I’ve never had the opportunity to see them live and would LOVE to see them at Irving Plaza, which is a very intimate venue.
I’ve been a fan for only a few years, but I love their music, and would love to see what they’re like live!
When I worked at my college radio station my friend managed to not only snag free tix, but interview the band and get an autographed poster as well. Help me even the score at least a little bit! :)
All I want is a headrush
All I want is to get out of my skin for a while
I have nothing to lose because I don’t have anything
Anything I want anyway….think about it.
Give me the tickets and you’ll be godlike!
I’ve been a fan since high school (early 90’s). A friend on the school radio station handed me a promo copy of a KMFDM single and said “You might like this. I think it’s some kind of techno.” I became a fan immediately and collected everything that was available at the time. Two decades later I’m still at it, and this would be a great opportunity to see all my NY friends again.
I have liked KMFDM since their first album and have seen them live once before. It was an O.K. show, nothing that great, since their first album they have had some pretty good tracks here and there. No real stand out albums.
I’ve listened to Kill Mother F*%kin Depeche Mode heavily in college along w/ Skinny Puppy, Front 242, Ministry, Nitzer Ebb, Clock DVA, My Life w/ The Thrill Kill Kult and Meat Beat Manifesto. I would love to see them live where there will hopefully be a huge pit just like in the 90’s. It will be wonderful to dance to those pulsating industrial beats out in public again. Ahh to relive our youth….a time when we thought we were the newest and coolest punks on the block and a time before the ridiculous Marilyn Manson craze.
Problem with KMFDM now is they never play the classics. The setlist for this tour includes NOTHING from UAIOE, Naive, Money, Ultra.. and 1 song from Angst… I mean, really? No ‘Godlike’ even?
Sorry Sascha, if you want my hard earned money you need to play at least 1 song off those records.
I’ve listened to KMFDM since my cousin and I discovered them in 1989,we were in high school and discovering new music…we must have heard “More and Faster” on college radio and we were sold! We sought out the UAIOE album and been fans ever since!
We saw them several times throughout the 90’s with REVCO,Ministry,The Skatenigs,The Mentors, etc…
They put on a great show!
I think the last time I saw them may have been at The Limelight in NYC and Sasha passed out in stage before the show was over.
We snagged a playlist from the stage and went home…
Would love to see them again!
It’s been years!
Or was it En Esch that passed out?
I’ve been a fan since the 90’s & feel I’m owe a show because I saw them in 1995 on their Nihil tour at the Limelight in NYC. Half way trough their set Sasha got sick & threw up cutting the show short. I like to see a complete show. I was an Intern at TVT/Wax Trax in 1998.
Been a fan since Angst “93. I first heard “Light” one night on WSOU in NJ…ran out and bought the cd and been a fan ever since.
