Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds had already debuted a lyric video for the second track off their upcoming 15th studio album, a nearly 7-minute slow burn called “Jubilee Street,” but now comes the prostitution-themed video for the song — a decidedly NSFW clip that was actually blocked by YouTube on content grounds for a period of time this morning.
The video stars Ray Winstone and was directed by John Hillcoat, with whom Cave has worked many times previously. Cave says: “It was a real pleasure hanging around the set and watching Ray do his thing. He is a master. What a great actor. And of course, working with my friend and collaborator John Hillcoat is always a blast.”
The track follows lead single “We No Who U R” off Push the Sky Away, which arrives Feb. 18.
