Cherry Red Records this morning offered fans of The House of Love their first taste of the label’s upcoming 3CD expanded reissue of the U.K. indie band’s self-titled 1988 debut, posting a stream of one of the previously unreleased demos that will appear in the set: a rough take of a song called “I Don’t Know Why I Love You Like I Do” — not to be confused with later single “I Don’t Know Why I Love You.”
You can check out that track via the player below.
The expanded reissue of The House of Love arrives Nov. 26 in the U.K., and features 40 bonus tracks, including all 10 songs compiled on the so-called “German Album” and a full 19 previously unreleased tracks off an original demo cassette (see full tracklist).
