The reactivated My Bloody Valentine will follow up its trio of dates in Japan by headlining All Tomorrow’s Parties’ just-announced I’ll Be Your Mirror Melbourne festival next February, marking Kevin Shields and Co.’s first Australian concert in more than 20 years.
The Feb. 16-17 festival is being co-curated by The Drones and also will feature a reunion of the original lineup of Aussie alt-rockers Beasts of Bourbon, plus the first-ever Australian appearance by Godspeed You! Black Emperor, Einstürzende Neubauten’s first Australian show since 1991, and sets by Swans, Thee Oh Sees and more.
Tickets go on sale Monday via ATPFestival.com
