The folks at Merge Records are offering fans a taste of the first new album in 15 years from Redd Kross — the ’80s cult act founded by brothers Jeff and Steven McDonald that scored some minor college-radio hits as ’90s major-label alt-rockers — in the form of this stream of the record’s stomping title track. Researching the Blues arrives Aug. 7, and will be the band’s first since 1997′s Show World.
