With The Stone Roses’ reunion now just over a month away — the tour currently is slated to open June 8 in Barcelona — we thought we’d use this installment of Vintage Video to take a look back at the band in its prime, via the classic home video “Blackpool Live,” which you can see in full right here. The concert was filmed at the Empress Ballroom on Aug. 12, 1989, about three months after the release of the Roses’ legendary debut.
