Although neither band has formally announced the tour yet, The B-52s and Squeeze will pair up this summer for a run of U.S. shows — and dates are beginning to emerge online, with at least six concerts announced in June and July at venues in California, Colorado, Iowa, New Jersey, Virginia and New York.
The dates, confirmed through venue and ticketing sites, so far begin on June 30 in Los Angeles, include a July 4 concert in Denver and run through July 19 in Vienna, Va. There also are confirmed B-52s shows in Santa Rosa, Calif., in late June and in Atlanta in late July, but it does not appear that Squeeze will appear at those dates.
It’s a busy year for Squeeze, which is playing the newly expanded two-weekend Coachella Valley Music & Arts Festival and has booked a series of California dates around those appearances, to be followed by a short East Coast run with contemporaries Dave Wakeling and The English Beat.
