With the new DVD and Blu-ray “Bug Live at 9:30 Club: In the Hands of the Fans” out next week, Dinosaur Jr is giving fans a little audio teaser in the form of a free MP3 download of the live track “Bones,” which you can grab via the widget below in exchange for an e-mail address. The film — overseen by Dave Markey, director of “1991: The Year Punk Broke” — will be released Tuesday, and features a full performance of 1988′s Bug filmed June 25, 2011,at the 9:30 Club in Washington, D.C. Not at all familiar with early Dinosaur Jr. I began following them when they signed to Sire Records. I need to give the old stuff a listen. Everybody tells me it is their best material.
