With its release now less than a week away, Sonic Youth has issued a short, two-minute trailer for the long-overdue DVD release of “1991: The Year Punk Broke,” the concert film that chronicled the band’s tour of Europe that year with opening act Nirvana. Due out Sept. 13, the film — directed by Dave Markey — also features footage of Dinosaur Jr, Ramones, Babes in Toyland and Gumball, and will come with more than an hour of bonus features, including the unreleased featurette “(This is Known As) The Blues Scale.”
