Sure, it was no Sugar reunion, but it was nice to see Bob Mould and The Roots jam through Copper Blue stand-out “If I Can’t Change Your Mind” on last night’s “Late Night with Jimmy Fallon” — even if it was only a minute long. The former Hüsker Dü frontman sat in with Fallon’s house band last night to promote his just-released autobiography“See A Little Light: The Trail of Rage and Melody.” You can see that clip above (via The Audio Perv), and be sure to check out the night’s actual musical guest — Sonic Youth leader Thurston Moore — right over here.

This song deserves a LOT better treatment than this, as does Bob Mould. What’s next, a spot on Glee?
Bob Mould is one of the most prolific song writer and performer I loved in the rock music scene. From his punk roots (husker du) and his band Sugar, Bob Mould seem to always hit the mark.
“If I Can’t Change Your Mind” remains to be one of my most favorite song of the 90s. Can’t believe he played this on Fallon. Thanks you for sharing this video.
And I hope I would find that book. Thanks again.
