After mounting a fairly lengthy U.S. tour late last summer, Tears For Fears are hitting the road again this September with a short run of concerts at clubs, wineries and casinos in California and Nevada — with the possibility of shows in Mexico and South America also on the horizon this fall.
According to dates posted on Curt Smith’s site, Tears For Fears will play eight concerts between Sept. 8 and 17, all in California except for a Sept. 16 date in Las Vegas (see full dates below). Smith also is in the midst of a residency at the Whitefire Theatre in Sherman Oaks, Calif., with dates coming up May 18 and 25, and June 1.
As for more Tears For Fears dates, Smith has made several references on his site to concerts he and Roland Orzabal are planning this September in Mexico, Peru, Argentina and Brazil, but those dates have not yet materialized. Most recently, he wrote in late March that he expected “to be able to confirm them in the next week or two.”
